Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

B5 Source, doing business as Borrego Business Systems ("Borrego," "we," "us"), helps small and mid-sized businesses map how their work actually runs and build systems around it. Our address is 10486 E Telluride Ct., Commerce City, CO 80022, USA. This policy covers information you share through the discovery intake form on borregobusinesssystems.com.

2. What this page is

The discovery form is an intake for a first conversation. It is not a product sign-up and does not connect to your accounting, CRM, or other business systems. You choose what to type into it.

3. What we collect

When you complete the form, we collect what you enter, which may include:

• your name, role, email address, and (optionally) your company website;
• your company name, industry, and rough team size;
• a description of the problem you're trying to solve, how you handle it today, and the outcome you want;
• the tools you use and how you'd like us to follow up; and
• your consent choices, with the time and the version of this policy and consent text recorded.

Please don't enter passwords, credentials, payment details, or your customers' personal information.

4. Why we can use it (lawful basis)

We process what you share for two purposes, each with its own basis:

• Responding to your inquiry. We process your submission to review it and reply to you — our legitimate interest in answering businesses that contact us, and a step you request by submitting the form.
• Optional website review. If you separately opt in, we review publicly available information on the company website you provide, on the basis of your consent.

You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; withdrawal won't affect anything done beforehand.

5. What we do not do

• We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws.
• We don't add you to marketing lists from this form.
• We don't make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects — a person reviews every submission.
• We don't access your private systems, sign in to your accounts, or submit forms on your behalf.

6. Optional website review

If you give us your company website and separately opt in, a person at Borrego may look at publicly available information on that site before we talk. This is manual, limited to public information, and optional. We don't run automated research, crawling, or scraping. If we ever introduce automated tools, we'll update this notice and ask for consent again first.

7. Who else touches your information

We use a small number of providers, each bound by a data processing agreement that limits them to handling data on our instructions:

• Tally (Tally BV, Belgium) hosts the form and stores submissions on servers in the European Union. Transfers are covered by Tally's Data Processing Agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
• Google Workspace (Google LLC) sends the receipt, carries our reply, and — if you choose to book a call — provides the scheduling page and Google Meet video call, under Google's Data Processing Amendment.

8. Cookies and analytics

This site currently uses no cookies and no analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and, where required, request consent before any non-essential cookies are set.

9. How long we keep it

We keep submissions only as long as needed for the discovery conversation and our records, then delete or anonymize them:

• Intake form submissions: up to 12 months after our last contact with you.
• Email correspondence: up to 24 months.
• Technical and server logs: up to 90 days.

We may keep information longer where required by law or needed to resolve a dispute.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect what you share and limit access to the business owner. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach of your personal information occurs, we will notify affected individuals and regulators as required by applicable law, including the Colorado breach-notification statute.

11. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your information, and withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@borregobusinesssystems.com. We respond to requests within 45 days.

Depending on where you live (for example, Colorado, California, Virginia, Connecticut, or Utah), state privacy laws may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we hold, to correct or delete it, to opt out of certain processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Because we collect so little and sell or share nothing, most of these rights are satisfied simply by contacting us — we honor them for anyone who asks, wherever you live.

12. International visitors

This site is operated from the United States and is directed to U.S. businesses; we do not target or offer services to individuals in the European Union or other jurisdictions outside the U.S. If you visit from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be processed in the U.S. and, for form storage, in the European Union by Tally. You may still contact us to exercise the rights described above.

13. Children

This form is meant for businesses, isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

14. Accessibility

If you have difficulty accessing or using this form or this policy, contact us at privacy@borregobusinesssystems.com and we will provide the information or an alternative way to reach us.

15. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date and version above and, where appropriate, tell you.
